Connecticut’s James Bouknight Cleared to Play After Missing One Month

UConn’s James Bouknight has been cleared to play and could feature tonight against the Providence Friars. Bouknight has missed Connecticut’s last eight games due to an elbow injury, and the Huskies have gone 4-4 during that span. The sophomore guard leads the team with 20.3 points per game and is third in rebounds with 5.3 per game.

Connecticut is 9-5 on the season and 6-5 in the Big East. They’re currently on the bubble and the first four out, according to ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi.

Bouknight and company are 6.5 point home favorites against the Friars, and early sharp money came in on the home team.
