Los Angeles-based comedian Bill Burr is a native Bostonian. If you didn’t know that, you will after 3.7 milliseconds of listening to him speak.
He also happens to be a 48-year-old white guy himself that is deeply removed – generationally speaking – from the wave of “millennial” liberals and moderates (like myself) that have invariably taken their stances on Colin Kaepernick across every imagineable social media platform. Burr’s popular podcast is a lot of yelling, ranting and cursing, as is his particularly successful brand of stand up. Which is why it might surprise you that his Colin Kaepernick take is so brilliant.
