The Colorado Avalanche will go at least eight days between games as the NHL has postponed their next three games. Colorado added a third player to the COVID protocol list on Friday, which prompted the league to take action. The West division leaders were scheduled to have a two-game set with the Los Angeles Kings on Friday and Sunday, followed by a Tuesday meeting with the St. Louis Blues. Colorado’s practice facility will be closed until at least Wednesday, depending on how testing goes over the next few days.
Colorado has been the hottest team in the NHL of late, winning four straight and going 9-1 in their past ten games.
