Shortly after trading away franchise cornerstone Matthew Stafford, the Detroit Lions are reportedly fielding calls on backup quarterback Chase Daniel.
Daniel is a career backup who has started five games in 11 seasons, winning two of those starts and throwing for eight touchdowns and seven interceptions along the way. Teams are looking at Daniel as a potential mentor for younger quarterbacks. With Jared Goff under center next season, the Lions should be able to move Daniels if any offer presents itself.
Detroit has the longest odds on the Super Bowl futures board at +13000.
