Tournament and Course Overview
It is crazy to think this week marks exactly one year since golf’s return from the COVID-19 shutdown of the sports world. Many exciting events have transpired since then on the golf links, and probably nothing quite as dramatic as what we saw this past Sunday when Phil Mickelson lifted the Wannamaker Trophy at Kiawah Island. Hats off to those that had the 50-year-old claiming his sixth major victory (the first since 2013) at 200-1.
This week at Colonial is still a solid field, as Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa are just a few of the studs looking to claim a win on this Par-70, 7,209-yard layout that was designed by John Bredemus and Perry Maxwell.
