Logistically, there were going to be some issues with how the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs played out. The Canadian border remains shut, meaning whichever team emerged from the North Division would have to find a temporary home in the USA to facilitate their games in the semifinals and onwards.
Not anymore, though, as the Canadian federal government has granted a travel exemption for the final two rounds of the playoffs, allowing NHL teams to travel across the border without quarantining.

Players and personnel are subject to enhanced public health measures such as pre- and post-arrival testing, daily testing, and players living in a modified quarantine bubble.
