Well, this isn’t good news for fantasy owners. After already missing four straight games with back tightness, Milwaukee has transferred Christian Yelich onto the 10-day IL. The 2018 NL MVP will be out at least the next week, so if you don’t have an IL spot available and are in a weekly head-to-head league, you should lean toward sitting the Brewers’ outfielder for Monday. Yelich has only played in nine games this season but is off to a much better start than his forgettable 2020 campaign. The 29-year-old hit a by far career-worst .205 last season in 58 games over the COVID-shortened season.
