Bradley Beal Ruled Out of Monday’s Contest With a Hamstring Injury

The Washington Wizards will continue their pursuit of a playoff position without Bradley Beal on Monday when they play the Atlanta Hawks. According to Shams, Charania Beal will be held out of action due to a left hamstring strain.

Beal remains the Wizards leading scorer, averaging 31.4 points per game, which is 0.5 points behind Steph Curry for the NBA lead. Anthony Gill is listed behind Beal on the Wizards depth chart and should be in line for his fifth start of the season.

Getting past the Hawks without their top scorer will be a challenge, but that does create more opportunities for Russell Westbrook as he chases the record for most career triple-doubles.
