The Chicago Blackhawks have announced they've suspended Garret Ross -- after learning he's being prosecuted in an alleged revenge porn case.
TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 23-year-old -- who's currently playing for Chicago's minor league affiliate -- was charged with one felony count of "non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images" ... more commonly known as revenge porn.
Officials say back in August, Ross shared a photo of a woman "engaged in a sexual act, which was obtained under circumstances which Ross should have known the image was to remain private.
