Is Bill Nye one of the mysterious “they” that Kyrie Irving was talking about last week? Irving, as you know by now, has expressed his belief that the Earth is flat — there’s just no way, he says, that we’re revolving around the Sun.
While the rest of us laugh it up about Irving’s astrophysical beliefs, Nye, host of the television series Bill Nye the Science Guy from 1993 to 1998, actually expressed sadness over the fact that an otherwise intelligent-seeming adult would act so foolishly in public.
Nye was critical of Irving in an interview with Sports Illustrated’s The Crossover.
