Antti Raanta has a minor injury and will miss a few games for the Coyotes

It looks like the Arizona Coyotes will be without their backup goalie for the next few games. Head Coach Rick Tocchet said Antti Raanta has a “minor thing” and won’t be available until at least Tuesday. Raanta was scratched for Arizona’s Wednesday game in Vegas against the Golden Knights. Following their second game in Sin City, a team spokesperson said the Yotes goalie was just fine. Now the 31-year-old netminder will miss both Friday and Sunday’s games against Vegas in what is a very strange scheduling snafu where these two teams play four times in a row.

Darcy Kuemper should be in net for both of those games this weekend against the Knights but has gotten off to a rough start going 0-2 with a .
