That’s obviously not the case, and he will be out long-term. The absence of the speedy OF will be harder felt in real life than in fantasy. Hicks was hitting just .194 with 30 strikeouts in 108 at-bats but did provide defense and speed. Owned in only 15 percent of leagues, if you don’t have an IL spot to stash him on, it’s a safe move to make the drop.
