The Utah Royals temporarily got their USWNT players back for this game. Sky Blue FC had free run for the opening minutes of the game as the Royals continued to look very disconnected. Christen Press finally broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, then struck again just over a minute later. Amy Rodriguez sealed the result with a third just after the half in the Royals best offensive performance of the season so far.
