SANDY, Utah — (Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018) Western Governors University (WGU) and Real Salt Lake (RSL) teamed up to grant scholarships worth a year’s tuition to four local students this year. Recipients Tyler Jones, Tanner Browning, Jenna Elegante and Kristy Quintana were awarded the scholarships by WGU President Chief of Staff Gilbert Rojas during halftime of Real Salt Lake’s match against the Montreal Impact on August 11 at Rio Tinto Stadium.
“RSL is proud to join WGU to offer these students free tuition for one year and give them an opportunity to be reborn through education,” said RSL Owner Dell Loy Hansen.
