WGU and Real Salt Lake Award Four Students Tuition for One Year

SALT LAKE CITY — (Sept. 22, 2017) Western Governors University (WGU) and Real Salt Lake (RSL) teamed up to grant scholarships worth a year’s tuition to four local students this year. Recipients Brian Oldroyd, Christina Hales, Braydon Eden, and Kaelee Nielsen were awarded the scholarships by WGU President Scott Pulsipher during halftime of Real Salt Lake’s match against the Portland Timbers on September 16 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

“WGU is more than a college, this is a place where people's lives are reborn,” said RSL owner Dell Loy Hansen. “This university enhances the quality of our state and the nation, and RSL is proud to join WGU to offer these students free tuition for one year.
