Week begins warmer than normal but will cool down

Although temperatures Monday will be at least 10 degrees more than they normally are in mid-November, a cold front moving in Tuesday is forecast to cool things off.

The western two-thirds of the state have been issued a hazardous weather outlook Tuesday through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. It warns of a storm system moving through the area expected to bring “much cooler” temperatures, snow accumulation in the mountains and some possible light accumulation in northern and central Utah valleys.

Salt Lake City highs are expected to reach 62 degrees Monday and 56 degrees Tuesday.
