Draper • The Utah National Guard is scheduled to hold a news conference Sunday at noon to provide details in the death of North Ogden Mayor and National Guardsman Brent Taylor, who was killed early Saturday during an attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Formal details have not yet been released by the National Guard, but Maj. Gen. Jefferson S. Burton expressed his condolences to the Taylor family in a news release.
“My heart breaks for the loss and sacrifice of our soldier, particularly for the family,” Burton said. “I wish them all the comfort and courage to face the difficult days ahead.
