Utes score their all-time high in a 143-49 win over Mississippi Valley State

Utah scored a school-record point total and guards Both Gach and Rylan Jones each had a triple-double Friday night as the Utes routed Mississippi Valley State 143-49 at the Huntsman Center.

The Utes' previous high of 132 points came against Evansville in 1960, when Billy McGill was the team's star.

Gach posted 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Ute coach Larry Krystkowiak also let Jones pursue his triple double, which came via his basket with 3:27 remaining. Jones finished with 10 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Timmy Allen scored 26 points for Utah, playing only 20 minutes.
