Freshman guard Bryanna Maxwell scored 15 points Thursday, leading Utah past Westminster College 88-58 in a women's basketball exhibition game at the Huntsman Center.
Lola Pandande added 12 points, Niyah Becker had 11 and Maurance Corbin had 10 for the Utes. BYU transfer Abby Mangum led Westminster, a Division II program, with 13 points.
Westminster had led BYU in the fourth quarter Tuesday in Provo before losing 69-61. Utah beat the Griffins 118-81 in an exhibition last October.
The Martin sisters – Kemery of Utah and Mariah of Westminster – were on the court together for long stretches of the game and guarded each other occasionally.
