Sandy, Utah (Wednesday, January 9, 2018) — Utah Royals FC announced today that it has become a member of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with the inception of Utah Royals FC Reserves set to begin play in 2019. Utah Royals FC Reserves will play under Utah Royals FC as a developmental team. The WPSL is a league designed for amateur players from collegiate, post-collegiate, and international female athletes.
Utah Royals FC Reserves will aim to serve as an opportunity for drafted players to receive exposure and continued development across the game at a high level.
