Three Real Salt Lake players have spent the latest FIFA International break with their respective national teams as Albert Rusnák, Jefferson Savarino and Shawn Barry have all seen playing time their respective national teams. Here is how each country faired with the RSL men:
Rusnák’s Slovakia hosted Ukraine in the UEFA Nation’s League B Group 1 match at the City Arena Trnava. Rusnák started the match and opened the scoring in the match’s sixth minute with a first-time strike from outside the box for his third goal in his last four starts for Slovakia. The ball made its way through traffic before flying past the goalkeeper for the early lead in just the sixth minute.
