Everyone these days seems to have an opinion on Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Sure, in some leagues it seems to be working fine, but others still have some issues to work out.

First a bit of history
VAR was first tested during the 2012–13 season of the Eredivisie in the Netherlands; the officials were impressed and petitioned to extend the trial through 2014. The International Football Association Board (IFAB) then approved worldwide testing for interested leagues starting in the summer of 2016.
