The 189th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints resumes Sunday for its two concluding sessions.
Saturday’s sessions focused on living a Christian life and loving in a Christian way. No major announcements were unveiled, but the twice-yearly gathering came just a couple of days after the church publicly reversed a controversial policy on LGBTQ members.
Church President Russell M. Nelson spoke Saturday night in the Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake City — and to members around the world — encouraging male Latter-day Saints to repent and pay more attention to their families.
