A 17-year-old is in custody and police are looking for a 14-year-old after a late-night crash wrecked a Midvale garage on Wednesday.

The two teenage boys were driving separate cars north on Monroe Street when they lost control near Columbia Street, according to Unified Police Detective Ken Hansen.

One of the vehicles hit a fire hydrant, and the other took out a couple of street signs, he said. The car the 14-year-old was driving crashed into a garage at the corner of Columbia and Monroe Street, damaging a car inside it and the front of the house, Hansen said.
