The No. 19 University of Utah volleyball team continued its winning ways on Friday with a dominant three-set victory — 25-13, 25-11, 25-20 — over Portland State in the Wolverine Classic at Utah Valley in Orem.
The Utes improved to 6-0 on the season, with five of those wins coming in three sets.
Freshman Zoe Weatherington had her best match as a Ute, leading the team with 16 kills while hitting .636. Dani Drews and Kenzie Koerber both posted double-doubles as Drews registered 13 kills and 10 digs and Koerber had 12 kills with 13 digs. Koerber hit .
