Lehi • The Skyridge High School football team advanced to the semifinal round of the UHSAA Class 5A State Championships with a 58-34 win against the Jordan Beetdiggers on Friday at Skyridge High.
Senior running back Ma’a Notoa carried the offense for the Falcons. He scored four touchdowns, one on a reception, and recorded an interception as well.
Skyridge trailed 21-0 less than two minutes into the second quarter, but it turned things around and allowed the Beetdiggers only 13 points from then on.
The Falcons completed their comeback in the third quarter. Notoa completed a nine-play drive with a 3-yard touchdown run for a 30-27 Skyridge lead with 9:19 left in the third quarter.
