It looks as though Luis Silva could be on his way back to Salt Lake ahead of the 2017 season.
RSL GM Craig Waibel spoke about it on ESPN 700 today with Bill Riley, saying “there’s a high probability of getting him back for this season.”
“He’s interested in getting here, and we’re interested in having him,” Waibel said.
The 28-year-old midfielder first came to RSL during the 2015 season in a trade that sent Alvaro Saborio to DC United. Silva played 10 games in Salt Lake, and ended up making the move to Liga MX side Tigres UANL after the season’s end.
