HARRISON, NJ (Saturday, June 1, 2019) – Real Salt Lake (6-8-1, 19 points) fell 4-0 at the hands of the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night, seeing its two-match trip to the East Coast come to a close.
RSL fell under pressure early in the first half as the Red Bulls test GK Nick Rimando on several occasion’s forcing the veteran goalkeeper to come up with four saves in the first half to keep the match at 0-0 heading into halftime.
RSL was forced into a change at the halftime break as MF Kyle Beckerman entered the match for the injured MF Nick Besler in the midfield.
