RSL drafts goalkeeper Andrew Putna in third round of MLS SuperDraft

Owner of four total picks in the third and fourth rounds of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft Tuesday, Real Salt Lake decided to just utilize one in the end. The franchise chose University of Illinois Chicago goalkeeper Andrew Putna with the fourth pick in the third round before passing on the 13th pick in the third round as well as the eighth and 13th picks in the fourth.

The pick to snag the goalkeeper was acquired last year when RSL dealt former outside back Abdoulie Mansally to the Houston Dynamo.
