In what should be fairly routine news for us here in the RSL community, a reporter for The Athletic has once again broken news about our team. This time, it’s Jeff Rueter, who’s reporting that Matt Taylor is joining the club’s coaching staff.
Taylor, formerly an assistant coach at UCLA, had a fascinating career as a soccer player: He graduated from UCLA in 2004 before going on to play for Kansas City Wizards (now Sporting Kansas City) and Chivas USA in MLS, Portland Timbers in the USL, then Hollywood United in the USL-PDL.
