Real Monarchs clinched its third consecutive playoff appearance in as many years with its 2-0 win over Orange County SC at Zions Bank Stadium on Wednesday. A second half surge spurred by DF Tate Schmitt who generated an OCSC own goal to give the Monarchs the lead before MF Maikel Chang’s goal in the 83rd minute following a counterattack spearheaded by Chang and MF Jack Blake solidified the points.
