Following swiftly upon the final agreement between the league and USL Players Association earlier this week, the USL Championship today announced the four Western Conference groups which will be formed for the modified 16 game schedule that make up the 2020 season. Under the USL plan which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, July 11th, the majority of regular season matches will be between teams within the same group to limit travel and logistical issues.
Real Monarchs SLC played a single match on the road in San Antonio prior to to the shutdown of the league in March of 2020 which will be included in the 16 match regular season.
