Real Monarchs SLC (3-5-3, 12 points) fell in its second match of the Four-Corners Cup to a 4-2 result against Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday. DF Marcelo Silva and FW Douglas Martinez tallied to the two Monarchs goals. Silva, along with RSL men DFs Erik Holt, Brooks Lennon and GK Andrew Putna each made appearances in the Starting XI.
The Monarchs came out of the gate quickly as Silva opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a headed effort after DF Andrew Brody lobbed the ball into the penalty area from near the middle of the park.
