Real Monarchs SLC add two new players, release two others

The loan of Amet Ramirez, a forward who made 8 appearances on the wing for the Monarchs toward the end of the 2016 season, has been terminated by mutual agreement. He has already returned to his former club, Plaza Amador in Panama.

Charles Boateng, another forward, whose loan from the West African Football Academy in the Ghanian First Capital Plus Bank Premier League was announced early in January of 2017, failed his physical with the Monarchs and his loan has been terminated.

Michael Gallagher, a 22 year-old graduate of the University of Washington who spent the 2016 season with Portland Timbers 2 in the USL, has been signed by the Monarchs for the 2017 season.
