Brad Rock from the Desert News sees optimism in Real Salt Lake’s loss against Tigres. Even though RSL didn’t come out the winner of the knockout stage of the CONCACAF Champions League play, there were a lot of positives that came from the two-game stint.

Although they lost against probably the hardest team they will face all season, RSL is showing promise and had some great moments. Joao Plata gave RSL the lead in the first half and kept it until late in the second. Andre-Pierre Gignac slipped past the last defender and Nick Rimando to even the game in extra time.
