One man is dead and another is in custody after a fatal shooting late Saturday night in Ogden.
Just before midnight Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of 31st Street, where they found a man bleeding and unconscious on a sidewalk, according to a news release from the Ogden Police Department. He died there of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police later took a male suspect into custody. The investigation continues, but police believe the shooting is an isolated incident and no threat to the public exists.
