Man charged with raping Provo woman says his alternate personality told him he’s innocent

A man charged with rape told Provo police he’s not guilty because one of his multiple personalities told him he had consensual sex with the victim.

According to documents filed with Utah Fourth District Court in Provo, Price was staying at the victim’s home in Provo when, on Dec. 10, he held her down by the throat and threatened to get a knife if she resisted. He then raped her, police said.

In an interview with police, Price said he “did not remember anything” from the previous day; that he “slept all day and nothing happened.
