Letter: What’s the point of ‘civil dialogue?’

Related Topics: Dialogue, Utah

In multiple venues of late, we the people of Utah have been cautioned to be "civil" with our Utah legislators.

It has been my observation, especially this session, that the majority of our legislators are led by three forces.

The first is narcissism. Our legislators believe they know better that the people they represent and they recklessly tread on legally passed propositions for changes to the law.

Second, many of our legislators are greedy. They pass legislation that ensures their re-election as well as the enrichment of their donors, associates and even themselves.

Finally, the large majority of our legislators follow the orders of the Mormon church.
