“Bombogenetic” bad weather prevails in the East, we are told. But over the entire country, the environment suffers by a chillingly bombogenetic presidential administration.
Tabulations of regulatory rollbacks can hardly keep up with the Trump/Pruitt/Zinke/Perry reality, but the total seems to average at least four or five federal rule terminations per day. If you want to see the cataclysmic, bombogenetic dimensions of the 1,600 or so regulations taken out of effect so far, you have only to look at the bombo-economic impacts they inflict.
A great number of highly scientific, highly technical jobs and contract services are terminated when government ends the service tasks — the high-tech jobs and the creative entrepreneurship — to do all the things that a clean environment, not to mention a healthy and compassionate national culture, absolutely require: clean cities, clean air, clean water, clean farms, clean parks/monuments, clean landfills, clean transportation, clean social rehabilitation, clean support services and so forth.
