Real Salt Lake winger Joao Plata, who only just got back into the Ecuadorian national team after a long spell out, looks to be on the outs with the organization.
The Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol, the ruling football body there, released a statement that five players had been unanimously suspended from participation with the Ecuadorian national team because of indiscipline. The names of those players were not officially released, but reporters from Ecuador released the full list.
