In Monday morning’s 2018 Generation Adidas Cup Fall Regional matchup the Portland Timbers U-15s team scored twice on either side of halftime to defeat the LA Galaxy U-15s. LA was first to get on the scoresheet after a series of one touch give-and-go passes fell to the feet of Jason Cruz, who tucked the ball calmly into the back of the net. Portland responded by finding a goal with the last kick of the half. It came after an LA defensive clearance bounced to Portland’s Abraham Villalobos outside the box.
