A FrontRunner train hit someone in Orem on Wednesday morning, causing “significant delays” to train service. No details about the person’s condition were released.
The accident occurred about 8:30 a.m. when the person was struck by a northbound train at the Orem Central Station at 1350 W. 900 South.

According to a UTA spokesman, the victim is believed to have walked in front of the train and was pinned underneath it.
