As the RSL Academy’s season came to a close, the seniors playing for the Academy and attending school at the Zions Bank Real Academy in Herriman were being heavily recruited by top colleges around the country.
Four seniors from the RSL Academy U-19s made college commitments in the spring as forward Ben Ortiz and defenders Noah Beck and Delentz Pierre all committed to play at the University of Portland for the upcoming NCAA season while Easton Harryman committed to the University of San Francisco.
Ortiz featured in 21 matches, 17 of which were starts for the U-19s in 2019, finishing the season as the co-leader in goals scored with 10.
