Former KSL on-air personality gets probation in DUI case

A former on-air personality for KSL’s morning show has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to probation.

Casey Scott was arrested in September after he was involved in a car crash and a Utah Highway Patrol trooper noted Scott’s breath smelled like alcohol. There were also open containers of beer in his car.

In November, Scott pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI and was sentenced to a year of probation. A judge also sentenced Scott to 35 days in jail, but he won’t spend any time behind bars. Instead, the judge gave him credit for time served because he had been in an inpatient treatment center.
