Provo • Saratoga Springs officials say they were able to thwart a social media threat related to Westlake High School that was discovered by the FBI.
Principal Gary Twitchell said in a letter sent to parents on Saturday afternoon that the Saratoga Springs Police Department was alerted to the threat by the FBI.
Twitchell said in the letter that the posting did not specify how or where the threat would take place, just made general intentions of hurting classmates.
