Duke's Zion Williamson to miss Syracuse game with knee sprain

Duke star Zion Williamson will not play against Syracuse on Saturday night as he continues to recover from a sprained right knee, the school announced.

Williamson, the consensus top-ranked prospect for June's NBA draft, was listed as "day-to-day" after leaving Wednesday's loss to North Carolina with a Grade 1 sprain after his left shoe fell apart in the first minute of the game.

Williamson grabbed his right knee in pain after slipping awkwardly and falling when his left shoe fell apart as he planted hard while dribbling near the free throw line on the opening play of the game.
