I guess we spoke too soon in the midweek jubilation following the LAFC game; last night was a textbook example of a fiasco: “a thing that is a complete failure, especially in a ludicrous or humiliating way”. Call it abysmal, disaster, shambles, catastrophe, calamity or whatever other euphemism you wish to use for it. Real Salt Lake completely fell asleep vs the Colorado Rapids from the first kickoff, was there even a time during that game where any player rose to the level of adequate? One team showed up ready to play, and the other was still listening to their Spotify playlists on their headphones.
