Real Salt Lake remained in California for their second game this week, heading south to face Los Angeles Galaxy. This was the 2nd and last match vs the Galaxy, with RSL winning the first meeting at home. Both teams needed a win to have any chance at the playoffs this year, and with the Colorado Rapids win that pushed the urgency to 11. Once again RSL gave up an early goal, then went down two before finally getting on the scoreboard.
