It’s safe to say that no one could have predicted what has transpired over the last couple weeks. With no plan set in place, or history to look back on, the Coronavirus has truly left us in uncharted waters.
It’s during times like these that I lean on my faith, my family, and the important life lessons that soccer has taught me.
Soccer lesson #1: Control the Controllables
Right now we are unable to stop this virus, and we can not heal those who are hurting, but it is important to focus on the things we can control.
