Friends, family and colleagues of retired Utah Supreme Court Justice Ronald E. Nehring will gather Sunday to share stories about the longtime jurist who died in May at the age of 71.
An open house in honor of Nehring is set for Sunday at the Orangerie at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, on the University of Utah campus.
Nehring’s family is billing the open house as “a casual affair to celebrate Ron and a life well lived.”
Nehring, who served on Utah’s highest court from 2003 to 2014, died May 24 from complications connected to anti-cancer radiation treatments he received years earlier.
